If you are a regular user of this site, please consider a monthly donation — even $5 or $10 per month helps. Since retiring from full-time parish ministry to devote more time to teaching ministry, your donations become more important. Every little bit helps! Thank you!

Have you felt any of the following needs as you’ve used this website?
You are invited to the Girardian Lectionary Study via Zoom on Mondays or Tuesdays, 1:30 pm Central Time. (If either of the two times doesn’t work for you, write me []. I’m open to adjusting the times.) For all the details regarding benefits and fees, see the Girardian Lectionary Study subscription page.
To all my readers around the world, this week I ask you to help girardianlectionary.net. From the beginning I made the decision to offer this ministry without requiring a subscription. We depend on donations averaging about $25. If everyone reading this gives $15, girardianlectionary.net can be kept fresh and updated. I will humbly ask your support in a “pledge week” three times a year. This site is possible because of your generosity.
Sincere thanks! Paul Nuechterlein

Like “pledge week” on public radio or TV, this is the week I ask for your support! Here’s why:
For 15 years this site was offered as part of my income as a parish pastor. Since 2015 I have been transitioning to a teaching ministry in the wider church and rely on income from donations to this site to help support that ministry. A couple times a year I will ask you, the users of this site (more than 1000 per day on average), to lend your support.
Giving $10 today — or more (especially if you are a long-time user) — is much appreciated!
In addition to continual updating of this site, my teaching ministry includes opportunities for interactive learning. Check out Discipleship Seminars in Mimetic Theory and consider inviting me to your community.
Thank you for your patronage! Paul Nuechterlein
Thanks to generous donations of more than 60 users we met our goal for the winter of $2500. We are very grateful for your support of this ministry! (If you would still like to make a donation for this pledge period, donate here.) The next “Pledge Week” will begin in March.
Another way to support the work of this teaching ministry is to inquire () about scheduling a seminar in your community, designed to help others learn about the interpretative tool that informs this site. Here are two currently featured seminars:
“Christian Faithfulness and Economic Justice“
“Strategies for Reading the Bible“
There is a wide range of topics that can be tailored to the needs of your community. For more information, see Discipleship Seminars in Mimetic Theory.
