Opening Comments: Preaching the Gospel of One New Humanity
Jesus referring to himself as the “Son of Man” is a key indicator of the Gospel as One New Humanity. Jesus sees himself akin to Paul’s Second Adam (Rom 5:12-21) — a Human Being 2.0, we might say.
